Black teas
Thirteen black teas, from the barest to the most elaborate.
On one side, the pure teas, where everything depends on the origin: the Assam Sewpur with its malty strength, the Kaimosi from Kenya, and the Grand Yu-Nan Imperial from China, rounder and darker.
On the other, the blends, where black tea truly shines: its structure supports aromas that a green tea could not withstand. This is what makes possible the cocoa in Roasted Nuts, the crumble in En visite chez Granny, or the gingerbread in Witch's House.
Water at 90-95°C, steeped for three to five minutes depending on the desired strength.
These teas come from the tea plant and therefore contain theine (caffeine). Consumption should be moderated late in the day, as well as for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children. Our rooibos and herbal infusions do not contain any.
