Cast iron care
Rinse with clear hot water, without detergent or an abrasive sponge. Dry immediately, both inside and out, and leave the lid open until completely dry. Do not leave tea in the teapot after serving.
No dishwasher, no microwave. A cast iron teapot retains heat, it does not produce it: do not place it on a stovetop, over a flame, or on an induction hob. Heat the water separately.
The handle gets hot: use a cloth or an oven mitt.
