Cast iron care

Rinse with clear hot water, without detergent or abrasive sponges. Dry immediately, both inside and out, and leave the lid open until completely dry. Do not leave tea in the teapot after serving.

Not dishwasher or microwave safe. A cast iron teapot retains heat, it does not produce it: do not place it on a stovetop, over a flame, or on induction. Heat water separately.

The handle becomes hot: use a cloth or oven mitt.
