Cast iron care

Rinse with clear hot water, without detergent or abrasive sponges. Dry immediately, inside and out, and leave the lid open until completely dry. Do not leave tea in the teapot after serving.

No dishwasher, no microwave. A cast iron teapot retains heat, it does not produce it: do not place it on a stovetop, over a flame, or on an induction hob. Heat the water separately.

The handle becomes hot: use a cloth or pot holder.
